For low-carbon technologies to succeed, they need to have a way to reach the market. Governments need to help build the necessary infrastructure, like transmission lines for renewable energy sources, charging stations for electric cars, and pipelines for captured CO2 and hydrogen. This is important for these cost-competitive technologies to have a chance to succeed.
